Our modular system is designed to allow one to use the right amount of Transport and the right amount of Switching for your application.
Upgrading the switch fabric or transport capability are independent. You are not forced to upgrade one when all you need to do is upgrade the other.

Using the routing/switching shelf, you will be able to pick and choose your level of scalability, your mix of rates, and your mix of physical port types.
