Aggregation and transport of five 2GFC/1GFC SAN over 10G signal
Ideal for SAN interconnects, the 2-slot PM 1005 aggregates up to 5 GFC or 5 2GFC (or any combination thereof) channels over a standard OC-192/STM64 link. By operating the link at a constant 10Gb/s, the PM 1005 eliminates the need for buffer credit implementation. Like the PM 1008, it has SFP access interfaces and can be ordered with either an XFP or OTX line interface. As with all PM service modules, the PM 1005 provides comprehensive control performance monitoring and control capabilities through the Ekinops 360 management interface.
