Didier played key roles in the growth of several startups in the USA and has extensive experience in sales, marketing and general management of technology companies.
Prior to joining Ekinops, Didier served as general manager of the software and services division of Ingenico, leader in secure transaction and payment solutions. Before Ingenico, he was CEO of a VC-funded startup, Ivex, a multimedia technology company providing advanced networked video solutions. Prior to Ivex, he was VP of marketing for Truevision (Nasdaq:TRUV) that he joined after heading marketing at Pacific Data Products, a very successful startup in the printer industry.
Didier started his career at Xerox, holds an engineering degree from the 'Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications' of Paris (MS in computer science) and an MBA from SAN Jose State University.
François-Xavier Ollivier has more than 27 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, and holds 15 patents in the field of optical transmission.
Prior to co-founding Ekinops, Mr. Ollivier was VP of Product Development at Corvis-Algety in Lannion, France. He also held management R&D positions within Alcatel's Submarine and Terrestrial Division in both Lannion and Paris, where he was in charge of coordinating Alcatel's worldwide system pre-development activities for its Optical Network Transmission business unit.
Since 2007, François Xavier Ollivier is also administrator of the Media and Networks cluster.
Dmitri has an extensive financial management and operational leadership experience in banking, industrial and services sectors.
Prior to Ekinops he provided M&A consultancy services to companies in France and launched an e-commerce company in Eastern Europe. He also served as Director of Finance with Agrogeneration, a start-up company specialized in agricultural production, and held various financial and strategy management positions with Trader Media East and Valeo in France.
He started his career with banking industry in Eastern Europe where he was responsible to build-up treasury operations. Dmitri holds a MS in Finance and Accounting and he is an MBA from HEC School of Management.
Rob Adams has more than 20 years senior level product management experience in the IT and telecommunications industries.
Rob worked with companies such as IBM, Cisco, and Ciena. Before recently joining Ekinops, he spent 10 years at Ciena Corporation, where in his most recent role, as vice president of product management he was responsible for product line management for Ciena’s entire product portfolio. His tenure at Ciena also included various product marketing roles.
He also spent 10 years at IBM in various marketing and product development management roles.
Jonathan has more than fourteen years of management level experience in sales, marketing and product line management in the telecommunications industry.
Prior to managing global sales Jonathan served as Ekinops’ Vice President of Sales in the Americas where he was responsible for building the US sales and support organization. He was previously with MRV Communications where he held a number of management roles in sales and marketing. In his previous role as vice president of marketing for Optical Access, a division of MRV, he led the marketing effort for the company's last-mile wireless solution.
Jonathan holds an MBA from California State University and a BA from Tel-Aviv University.
Alain has extensive experience in manufacturing acquired in the telecom, automotive and mechanical sectors.
Prior to joining EKINOPS, Alain was Manufacturing Director at SKF where he managed a group of factories in different countries (USA, Malaysia, India, Italy, South Africa and France). Before becoming plant manager at SKF he was production manager at GKN and TI Automotive Groups. He started his career at ALCATEL where he was supply chain manager.
Alain holds an engineering degree from Ecole Nationale des Arts-et-Métiers and an MBA from ICG.
Jean-Luc Pamart has more than 16 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
Recognized worldwide as an FEC expert, he has been awarded 7 patents for his work in optical transmission. Prior to co-founding Ekinops, Mr. Pamart was Director of Hardware Development at Corvis-Algety in Lannion, France.
Previous to that, he held various R&D positions at Alcatel within its Submarine and Terrestrial Division, and Optical Network Transmission business unit.
